About Olalekan Adetunji

I am a visual artist and art photographer based in the United Kingdom. My practice delves into themes of identity, heritage, culture, and everyday beauty, employing storytelling to create emotionally charged images. Since 2017, I've been creating a body of work using photography to document, interpret, and preserve moments that would otherwise go unnoticed.

Most of my work focuses on people's lived experiences and cultural narratives, which reflect the richness of heritage, the realities of modern life, and the connections between people and their surroundings. I approach my work with a critical and observant eye, focusing on detail, composition, and narrative depth. My photography aims to inspire reflection, evoke emotion, and provide a deeper understanding of various human experiences.
